History

La Niché commenced trade on the Gold Coast, Queensland, November 1996. The founders were inspired by their long association with Mexico and past years of both living and travelling through France, Italy, Spain, Central and South America. During this period they became consumed by the beauty, charm and history of the countless jewellery pieces they saw. So much so, that upon their return to Queensland, they decided to create “La Niché”, as a means of sharing their passion.

The majority of our designs and range are exclusive to La Niche. Our collection is handcrafted by an eclectic group of talented Jewellers & Artisans, the majority of whom are based in the Central highlands of Mexico.

Our Jewellers do not use recycled silver in the creation of our pieces. Therefore our jewellery looks whiter and brighter than that of our competitors from other countries. It also reduces tarnishing and cleaning!

We work directly with the Jewellers in the creation of new designs, colour combinations and finishes, in the hope of bringing you the most exciting and diverse range of Quality Mexican Sterling Silver and Alpaca Jewellery available from Latin America. We think we have achieved this!
